4 September 2012

The elite team for Perform at St. Georges Park is taking shape with the appointment of Dr Charlotte Cowie as Clinical Director, Neil Fell PhD as Centre Manager and Jake Keeling as Business Development Manager.

Perform is St. George’s Parks very own human performance, sports medicine and rehabilitation facility. Our aim is to become an internationally renowned centre of excellence and alongside The FA is expecting to qualify for a FIFA Centre of Medical Excellence accreditation – the first in Great Britain. Therefore, a high calibre team is integral to our ambitions.

Dr Cowie brings an immense wealth of experience, tremendous enthusiasm and a passion for sports medicine. With recent elite football medical experience at Fulham and Tottenham, Charlotte has most recently combined her role as clinical lead at the BUPA musculo-skeletal Centre of Excellence in the Barbican with that of National Governing Body Doctor for the GB Taekwondo Squad. Charlotte has an impressive 20 year career in Sports Medicine and she will join us after working as part of Team GB at her third Olympic games.

Neil Fell PhD joined as Perform Centre Manager and will assume overall operational responsibility for the centre. Neil brings with him great experience in elite sports science, rehabilitation and human performance after 12 years at Total Fitness and Exercise and rehabilitation facility in South Manchester.

Meanwhile Jake Keeling will be looking at maximising the commercial opportunities at Perform within St. Georges Park. His experience from leading successful sales teams will help us bring the benefits of a visit to Perform to a wide range of individuals and teams.
