A few of the highlights from the past week at Perform at St. George’s Park:
FA U17 International Football Tournament
The FA U17 International Tournament took place last week, with all of the competing teams based at St. George's Park. The England U17 team were joined by teams from Italy, Portugal and Czech Republic who all travelled over to compete in the tournament. Burton Albion, Chesterfield and Kidderminster Harriers all hosted England matches, with Alfreton Town and Tamworth FC also used for non-England games.
The sides were all based at St. George's Park for the week, making use of Perform's hydrotherapy facilties for recovery sessions. England finished second in the tournament behind Portugal but had a strong tournament overall, finishing with a 4-3 victory against Italy.
